2nd Saturdays at CSU Spur, presented by Canvas Credit Union, are free and open to the public for lots of family-friendly programming, including:
– Cooking activities in the CSU Spur kitchen.
– Watching veterinarians at work.
– Observing horses assisting with human therapies.
– Engaging with scientists at work.
– Playing in the mock kitchen, mock vet clinic, and mock lab.
– Getting your hands dirty in the stream table.
– Exploring the world of virtual reality (ages 9+).
– Strolling through the rooftop greenhouse.
May’s event will feature a whole day of music from the Spur Music Lab, including live performances and community jams/workshops starting at 11am!
In addition to the tunes, join our education team to make your own flower bouquets, dive into animal and health science with Sci on the Fly, hands-on exploration of Ute science and technology with History Colorado, and more! This month’s event will also have food trucks on site serving up Tacos, Vegan Creole, and Catfish and Ribs — come hungry and ready to grub!
Special activities change each month so check back often!
Western Daughters Kitchen, located in the Hydro building, has coffee and food for purchase.
